Very few artists are as prolific in the current rhythmic noise and breakcore landscape as Lucidstatic's James Church. This Alaskan native and recent Colorodo transplant has been hard at work writing non-stop for Lucidstatic and his downtempo side project, Pandora's Black Book releasing several albums through outlets such as Tympanik Audio, Raumklang Music, and Crazy Language over the last several years. And as if that isn't enough, Church operates his own dark electronic label imprint and artist collective, CRL Studios.
Fatalist is Church's answer to the silence that has followed the 2010 release of Symbiont Underground (Tympanik Audio). This very personal project is a self described exorcism of personal demons and and the artist's unrelenting climb from the bottom back up to reclaim hope for a better tomorrow.
Church brings some very talented peers along for the ride and treats the listener to twelve uncompromising tracks written in collaboration with artists such as Worms of the Earth, Noize Fetish, ESA, Psykkle, Sumibraxis, and more.
Five additional songs (tracks 13-17) featuring more than 25 minutes of additional music are available for free to those that purchase directly through Signifier!
